Default On Road In New Orleans Area

I'm going to be working in New Orleans for a while and was wondering about the racing scene there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Rita took care of APEX. We race onroad 1/10 electric(asphalt) in Lafayette at Cajun RC Hobby Shop. I think they race some 1/8 nitro onroad in Baton Rouge. I'm not sure where the track is. Everything else in South Louisiana is 1/8 offroad. You can check out the Cajun RC onroad thread on Trinity Tech Talk for more info. Its under the nitro section.

We had some interest in 1/12 at first but it died out. The track is a nice size for 1/10 scale. A couple of spots on the track would probably be too bumpy for 1/12.

I've been trying to find some onroad drifting around here but it's all about offroad from what I've seen.

There is no drifting in the new orleans area but we do have a onroad track in Kenner come check it out.
1401 Fulton in Kenner 504-858-3577 for directions
