Default INDEPENDENCE DAY SCHEDULE

HOLIDAY WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Because so many of our racers have expressed a preference for racing on Friday, July 3rd instead of Saturday, July 4th; we are changing our schedule for this weekend only. Of course a threatened mutiny by our staff may have influenced the decision as well.

We will race outdoors on the offroad track on Friday night, July 3rd. Doors open at 4 PM; racing starts at 7 PM. We'll run 2 rounds of qualifying and mains (the same program as we run Wednesday nights).

Saturday we will be open from 10:30 AM to 3 PM so that the staff can head home at a reasonable hour to spend at least part of the holiday with family and friends.

We will have normal hours on Sunday (10:30 to 6 PM) with carpet onroad racing starting at 1 PM.

Are we still racing dirt oval on Tuesday nights, or are we taking a break until the next series starts on August 11?

Sounds good. How does the track look for tomorrow? We got a bunch of rain over here last night.

Hey Chuck,

If we have enough guys to run Truck this Sunday, will we be using handout motors? If not, is it any ROAR-approved motor?

I'm sure we'll be running truck and most of the guys have been running Novak Vulcan motors to prepare for the upcoming BRL season. You can run any ROAR approved 17.5 motor but I'll have motors available for loan if you want to run a Vulcan.

Default help w/ questions

Again, so I am trying to get geared up for winter. I had to sell my 1/5 scale sprinter for some surgery and now starting to get around again in small steps so I am wanting a car or something to have for winter racing..

I am open to options, would prefer dirt but hey I am open to trying something new..

the only electric experience is pretty much null... I did get a Losi sct in some trading of some items that is all stock and was thinking about running a modified with it but maybe I will but maybe I need 2....

Also the charger is crap with the Losi what is everyone using? Good dual charge I guess would be ok?

Can you give me some options, I am Lawrence Kansas prefer to stay close if possible....

My wife and I are considering a move to KC. If it does happen I'll be in KC in late fall. What classes are popular during fall/winter?
Right now I've got a 1/8th scale Mugen Mbx6 Eco.

In the winter, the main classes are 17.5 blinky 2wd, mod 2wd, and mod 4wd. After that in descending order of popularity: 4wd SC, 2wd SC or slash, and then stadium truck. Each winter season is its own beast—the main classes are always full, but the others may be weaker, or filled as well. Depends on what people decide to run.

Cool! Thanks for the info! So are batteries still limited to 4200mah? Seems kind of low.
