Thanks Howardcano, Steamboat
Hey guys thanks, I talked with Steamboat on the phone last night and he gave some good info too. He pointed out some stuff that would have been a deal breaker, I mean my passion would have been running sprints on the dirt. But he pointed out I may have issues with the drivers stand getting up and down so for sure deal breaker..
steamboat also mentioned the Nas truck which they run at Topeka I would kind of like that, Howardcano do you know if Fastlane has the same class?
He said I could run the same 6.2 with 27t for Topeka? With Nas Turk body..
So I might be able to find a used sedan or Tc4 club car?
I have much to look and find..
Howardcano, thanks for the offer of the car I just may take you up if anything maybe I might shadow you for a race day take some notes.. I will hit you up when I plan to go to make sure you will be going too..

You are welcome to come chat-- I love to talk! Fastlane also has other experienced racers that will fill you in if I'm not around. I'm at Fastlane on most Sundays if Topeka isn't scheduled (or gets rained-out).
NasTruck is run only at Topeka. It requires a 21.5 brushless motor. The rules are posted here:

Used cars can be very cost-effective. Make sure that Fastlane carries parts for it!
Unfortunately, I don't recommend the TC4. It is quite fragile, has no gear diffs available, and will be overweight for 17.5 TC. That said, I have seen them do well in VTA and USGT.

As Howard mentioned, we don't currently run the NasTruck class but any time 3 or more similar cars show up we'll run a class for them.
Hope you can make it out to check out our facilities and talk about racing options.

We’re on track for our first day of outdoor racing; Saturday, April 25th. Anthony, Arlynn and I had another productive afternoon (those guys did most of the actual work) raking rocks and dragging / packing the track. We plan at least one more round of drag and pack then we’ll put the pipe down to create pit lane and we should be good to go for Saturday (weather permitting).
A couple of reminders. We’ll switch to our summer schedule this Saturday. We will still open at 10:30 AM but racing will not start until 4:30. We will continue to be closed on Friday’s except for special events. If we are rained out on the outdoor track we will race all the electric classes indoors with the same starting time.
As posted earlier, we will run all 10th scale and 8th scale classes on the outdoor track, weather permitting. The only time we will race on the indoor track will be when we are rained out on the outdoor track.

Hey Bigchuck,
Thanks for the replies everyone, I did a lot of looking around and talking to several places close by to run. I just want to say there are some great people out there still in this hobby.
But just decided to go to 1/5 scale sprint, I think with a few mods I can enjoy racing again..

Hey BIGCHUCK, or anyone can chime in here. Does Fastlane run any 1/5th Sprints on his outside oval?
Tech Master
We do not run 1/5 scale on our oval. It's s bit too small and the walls and such aren't built for the weight and size of a fifth scale.
Tech Rookie
Yeah Skip is where I was planning to run at he is helping me get stuff for my car. Which hopefully may be pretty close next weekend.
