Chuck, you just don't hear me - Your listening but not hearing....

Taken from the Northeast grand slam website:
"Class Restriction:
Updated 9/09 If you have a Top 5 finish in any stock class in the last 5 years at the Carpet Nats, Indoor Champs, Snowbirds, IIC, or Novak Race, you may not race stock in any Grand Slam class. Further, the Grand Slam has the right to deny highly-skilled racers entry in the stock classes. For example, Ralph Burch may not have raced stock in the last 5 years, but would not be permitted to race in our stock classes. Top 5 finishes in “Amateur”, “Sportsman”, and “Masters” classes do not apply. Some additional exceptions may be made when pertaining to low class turnouts at major events."

Roar has changed their idealogy too - which restricts alot of drivers from the 17.5 class - which limits me to 13.5 class.

Novak race- restricts me from 17.5.

I will run 17.5 class if they allow me to

I hear you and I'm aware of the change in ROAR's approach to the 17.5 class even without you quoting someone's rule book.

Couldn't resist yanking your chain and apparently it tweaked you more than I expected.

Congratulations again on a great result...

Tuesday Night results:

http://www.fastlanehobby.com/results/?id=504

Started at 6:30; finished mains by 10 PM. That schedule should be a little more reasonable for weeknights. We'll run that way again next Tuesday.

I think ROAR is really trying to push stock as a sportsman class. They are even going as far to no stickers allowed in the 17.5 classes.

Very interesting......

No tweaking at all- seemed like some clarification was in order from your post. That's why the smilie's were there

And Thanks

Just scanned thru the thread here and have a few questions...

How far of the hwy (I am assuming I 70) is the track?
Is there room for a 80ft truck and trailer there or near by?
What nights are the sedan races being held and classes?
Can someone peel Dustin Layne next time he is there racing for me?

Thanks in advance!

It's a few miles south of 70 on 40 just east of Woods Chapel Road. I believe you could get within 100 feet if you parked out front.

Whoa whoa whoa, Gitsum at my old home away from home?

I need to get back out to Fastlane, it's been a year and a half. I had to bail on my XMas trip this year due to work, though.
