RESCHEDULED 2015 FASTLANE SUMMER SHOWDOWN
Fastlane Raceway's 2015 Summer Showdown has been rescheduled to June 26 & 27th due to rain on our originally scheduled weekend. After searching through the race calendar here in the Midwest this appears to the be the date which will have the fewest conflicts with other trophy events / series.
This will be our first trophy event combining 8th scale and 10th scale race classes on our outdoor offroad track and our first trophy event of the 2015 season. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each class as well as the Top Qualifier in each class.
We will run 3 rounds of qualifying and mains on Saturday with plenty of practice time on Friday. We will schedule separate practice sessions alternating between 10th scale cars and 8th scale cars with the exact schedule to be determined by the number of entries.

Link should be working now.
As for tires, choices like the Holeshot, Impact, etc are working well in most conditions. If you head over to our Facebook group you'll likely get more responses from a number of our racers.

Things are looking great for our 2015 Summer Showdown this coming weekend. There is a little rain in the forecast but the track has dried out from the earlier monsoons and can hold a fair amount of water. We should be fine on the weather front.
For those who haven't been here before I've attached a drawing showing the layout of our facility. If you're planning on bringing a trailer to pit from there is parking to the north of the drivers' stand for the dirt oval. If you're pitting outside I've shown some areas for Easy Up's with power nearby. In these 3 areas you should be able to set up and have your car there. If you choose to set up your Easy Up next to the offroad drivers' stand on the west side we're going to ask you to park your car somewhere else in order to keep a drive through lane open for other businesses on the property.
If you're looking for a hotel there are a lot of choices at the Woods Chapel Rd and 7 HIghway exits on Interstate 70. You're basically no more than 10 minutes away from the track at most hotels in Blue Springs.
