The 2013 Season begins in acouple months.

Schedule:

May 25 - 26
June 15 - 16
July 13 - 14
August 10 - 11
September 14 - 15
October 12 - 13

May race is also the Fireball Classic and will score double points.
We will count your best 5 races.

All races will be in Lincoln again this year.


Entry fee will be $20 for each race except for the Fireball Classic. It will be $30.

Been thinking of changing the format for this years races.

Starting with the second race of the season, this is what I am thinking.

Run the weekend as two seperate races. On each day, run two rounds of qualifying followed by mains.
Score 50 points to win, 49 for second, 48 for third, ......
Then ad both days points together for a total possible 100 points for the weekend. Then add 1 bonus point if you win both days.

So, I have two questions.

First, does this sound like something we should try this year? Any suggestions to make it better?

Second, what should the length of the mains for the nitro classes be? 20 min. 30 min.

One more question.

For the Fireball Classic, what length of qualifiers and mains would everyone like.

We will run three rounds of qualifying on Saturday. One or Two rounds on Sunday morning followed by the mains.

Qualifiers could be 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
Mains could be 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

Could be any combination.
