Default 2012 Fall Classic of Hutchinson, Ks. Nov. 9-11 Info/questions thread

November 9-11 at HP Hobbies in Hutchinson, KS.

Standard 3-day race format. Previously the format was stock motors run Saturday and mod motor runs on Sunday. This year we take the standard format of practice on Friday, qualifying for all classes on Saturday, and mains on Sunday.

Thursday, Nov. 8th evening will be a standard club race. Come race and get an early jump on the competition.

Stock Motor Limit is 17.5 and still waiting for clarification on the timing advance on this one. Stay tuned.

Flyer and official details http://www.rctech.net/forum/attachme...d-schedule.pdf

From Spiti post 46--" we are not running stock classes in Blinky mode. Steve hasdecided thatforthisyear we will not require blinky mode just that novice, stock buggy and stock truck be 17.5. Pro 2 Lite and Pro 2 SCB will be limited to a 13.5 non blinky.

I also added Pro 2 SCB 13.5T to rcsignup.com"

Thanx everyone
Chris

Tire choice has normally been medium to small pin tires in soft or super soft compounds. The Thursday club race will most likely need slicks for the best lap times. By the end of Friday however the track will dry slightly and treads will be preferred.

Will there still be a novice class/kid class? I think we ran bar codes last year also.

Guys, not trying to be a jerk and I'm sure some of you think I'm d**k cheeseburger but I would really like to come race in hutch at the fall classic again, the problem is the Jconcepts race in KC is the next weekend and I'm sure others are in the same boat as me, where I can't do 2 races in a row. So I ask this as nice and with as much respect possible, would Steve have any interest in changing the dates on this race? I would love to run in hutch and in turn would love to see some hutch guys in KC.
