as of last night i stopped by and the wall behind the drivers stand is being torn down and the track will officially be about 3 times the size. these guys arent messing around and trying to make this one legit facility. track should be bigger than fastlane.

keep ya posted on upcoming practice days because of the changes going on but when all said and done this should be sweet!

I went up there today. The wall behind the stand was gone. Looks like some serious changes going on.

They work fast you would be supprised. Last I knew was they were gonna try and have it runing sometime this weekend. I am supposed to go up there off and on this week to help so me or Jonan will keep you guys posted.

Ya like jeremy said they pull the trigger on things quick here and really are pushing for it to just get done. They have some smart people behind it and i think everyone will be happy with the changes.

Please keep us posted as to when they will be back up and running. I just found out about this track and now that I am just getting back into RC I am excited about this track being so close to home.

Sorry Shawn, but Thursday will be out for me, due to work. but I will try to make it out there Friday evening or Saturday sometime.
What time do you all close on Friday and Saturday, now that the Holiday times are over?

BTW, will there be a dedicated RC website for this track in the near future?

John I will ask tommorow to be sure, but right now the guaranteed hours are 10am-6pm. Somtimes they stay later if someone will stay late.

Shawn the old layout is still there and runable as of today, they are building the new wall and should be changing everything over this weekend. There will soon be a new website www.letkoraceway.com with all the info on it for practice and race times. After they get the track rebuilt they are going to start on pits and timing system for the track. The new track is WAY bigger almost 3 times the room from before.
