I will have to see what my finances are like. If I have the money, I'll go. They run on rubber there? I don't want a fastlane repeat where I show up and turns out that everone else is on foams.

Usually stock TC is on rubber, and foams are only run in mod.

Doug any comments

Actually we have had both going for the past few weeks. Stock rubber and stock foam. Stock rubber is where the new guys have been running or racers that dont have the money for foams right now. We have been getting the same amount of entries between stock foam and stock rubber. I am pretty sure that there will be at least a 19t class but more than likely there will be a mod class this weekend so stock foam possibly could be short a few entries. Come on down and lets have some fun.

Jason I sent you an email too. Hope you got it.

Sounds like fun. I think that there are some of us going up for the November race so maybe some of the Hi-Performance Raceway guys can make it up there in October as well.

Well I don't want to race stock, and I am not going to buy any foams, so I'm just gonna stay here and try to get my GT body painted. I can only hope that I one day get the chance to race again.

Zig you don't have to true your tires to be fast, I've gone to races and bought tires right off the wall, slaped them on and was just as fast as those guys being all technical about tire size and rollouts, and all that junk. Plus being your first time on foams it's better to have a bigger tire, your car will be a little easier to drive.

Back at ya Doug

Well I would like to run Mod, but would also like to be on a set of foams. Since I bought that car the beginning of the week, my R/C fund is kinda short, and I dought my wife is going to hand me 40-50 bucks to spend on a new set of foams. I think I'll just go down make a few practie runs and see how things go, then decide what I'm running, but I know what ever it is will most likely be on rubber tires. I just want to get my car on a track and race.

It's all just for fun anyway, right Boat.

Cubby let us know

Zig the track opens at noon, races start at six, what time do you want to leave? Do you want to be there when the doors open?

Onroad for me is just too daft, so it would HAVE to be mod. I mean, when I crash, I want it to be spectacular!

Anyway, I've got friggin' taxes this month to pay on the Max and my truck. There's over $400. Anniversary first week in Oct, at LEAST another $250. Sooo...I don't think I'm going anywhere for quite some while. probably end of Oct. In fact, I am probably lucky that I don't have to sell my stuff. I really would like to be able to go though.
