MMRCC - Jefferson City - Season Opener 2009 Trophy Race!
Hey All...
Some of you may have noticed that we've turned our Opening day race into a trophy race!
For those of you who haven't.. Here is your heads up.
We want to get all of you out to the track to see what the club has been up to and show you all that this is truly a track worth attending.
So to whet your appetites a bit.. Here's a glimpse of the graphics for the plaques. They will be 9x7 plaques. Each class specified and plaques for TQ - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
The classes will be as follows:
1/8 Scale Buggy
1/8 Scale Truggy
Monster Truck
Slash - Of Course!!!
1/10 Scale Open - This is any 1/10 scale vehicle. EXCEPT an MT or MT derivitiave such as the Slayer. We haven't in the past had enough to break electric and nitro up much less 2WD vs. 4WD or Buggy Vs. Truck. our track is a pretty good equalizer for 10th scale. Nobody should have a really big advantage.
Hopefully in the future we will be able to break the classes up into Sportsman/Expert and devide the 10th Scale class. Until we get a feel for the numbers we will be drawing at these events this is the best we can do for now.
NOW!!! Here is the kicker folks!!
Entry Fees will be the normal club fees for this trophy opener!!! $5 per class for club members and $10 for non club members.
I'll be honest with you folks!! THESE PLAQUES ARE COSTING US MORE THAN THE $10 ENTRY FEE!! We just want you all to come check us out!!

I was talking to David Smith about it. We have a 3 hour drive pretty much and we were originally planning at leaving at 6am so we could get some track time....its been a long winter and new trucks...so u know how that goes. I can understand the Sunday and people have to work on Monday ordeal. Just keep me posted on whats going on so I know how to adjust schedule accordingly thanks. Josh

hey guys, I'm new to the mid-west, I am from Lenexa KS, how far away is this place ? I'm getting into 1/8 scale nitro buggy racing, and would love to attend this.
