Well I'm sure after last nights & this mornings downpour the track is soaked, but I'm headed down there anyway to see what I can do, I'll at least try to finish weed whippin and putting the pipes back. It looked like the rain is going to give us a break for a few days (I'm sure that will change) but I'm itchin to play.. the wife's out of town & I got nothin better to do...

Maybe a Tues night race? If I or any others that want to help can get the track back in order??

this is what the track looked like about 24 hrs ago... Attachment 1301389

Attachment 1301390

Attachment 1301391

...and then a 15 minute massive downpour, I had just gotten there to try out my new transmitter (the Futaba I bought is a massive improvement over my cheap Spektrum, gonna take some getting use to) which I was doing, paired with my new motor when what looked like a little but strong fast moving cell was headed right for me but it dumped a lot of rain real fast.. so bummed. The track was so good, the smoothest I've seen in a long time. I know it probably wasn't up to many peoples standards but from some of the regulars I talked to Sunday afternoon they were amazed at how smooth the sections that typically aren't were, sure a couple jump faces could have used a little raking but weren't bad.

sorry if i'm over posting on this thread but it seems pretty dead anyways. I just wanted to show some pics of the track I know a lot of you don't live near, it's on my way to & from work so I swing by from time to time and see if there is anything I can do.. I didn't do much after the flood, weed whippin was the biggest task. I've got the bug & just want some track time especially with others there, I'm finally getting caught up with work so I plan on "trying' to race more..

For this weekends race July 18th. We are going to push back the start time to 5pm sharp. It's very hot this week and weekend and give everyone a break from the heat all day and enjoy some night racing. Hope to see everyone Saturday!
