im still planning to show sat,,, ill bring a couple 4x4 slashes, and my truggy. my son wants to race the truggy. i told him he wasnt going to win, and he would be better in the beg/SC class. well see????? if i run the slash, i still need a 2s?

OR i might turn the punch control to 0%, its @ 75% right now???? woulld that slow it down??

punch control wont limit the top end. it will regulate the initial burst when you give it throttle(hence the term punch). kinda depends if you wont to slow down the bottom or top end. turning down the EPA on the throttle will limit top end. either one will slow it down. where u want it to slow down is the question? my punch setting on my esc goes up to 10 which is max punch and I have it set at 7 with my throttle epa all the way up(for the long straight). i run a 4s lipo and 1750 motor. hope this gives ya a general idea.

well i have mine set to 75%, my son (8) wants to run with the truggys? he knows how to drive,,but hes no racer, i need some 2- 2s lipos, so my truggy will be drivable on a track. ill see if i can get some before sat....see ya @ 10:30ish

im 18/50 gearing, whats a good pinion to go with,, 13ish?
