Omaha was just plain AWESOME!!!!! By far the best RC track of any type I have been to.

Couldn't believe the number of racers at that Omaha race. 300 racers with close to 500 entries!! And they say on-road is dead

I do not know of any locals that have one of those yet. As that class has just sprung up in the last year. And with no local carpet track until now. Well you get the idea.

I know I will run WGT when the Xray car comes out. But you have many to choose from, all good cars.

The nice thing about WGT is they use a spec tire. So tires are easy to choose

. And the wear is really low. The only body that works well on the car is the Protoform Sophia GT.

Don't know how many WGT cars will run, but I really recomend them to any one looking to get into on-road, they are as close to a spec class as you can get. The rules so far are 4 cell nimh with 13.5 BL, and every one has to run the spec tire-lilac, which all the major manufacturers are making-JACO, parma CRC and such. They are really durable and easy to drive. I think in the near future it will go either single cell LIPO with 13.5, or 2-cell LIPO with 21.5.
