One correction th what huskerfreak posted.

There will not be any onroad practice on friday night because of offroad racing. Track should be ready around 8am on sat.

Are the results posted somewhere? Unfortunately, our good money that we pay to ROAR doesn't even get the upcoming ROAR races nor the results posted on their site. Of course it may be just to early for the results. I know more people would have attended with a little more notice or at least some sort of advertisement. Even during our HOA race two weeks ago there was no mention or announcement to over 30 racers on hand that there was an upcoming ROAR regional race. Not sure why, but maybe it was just forgotten. This would have been a great opportunity to help advertise the race, increase the competition and turnout.

To Z's credit, he did mention to me back in MAY after I posted a message on the nitro forum concerning the date of the regionals that the race date had been set for July 26th. However, with my work schedule I new I wouldn't be able to make it. Not sure why it wasn't advertised or pushed anymore than that.

I had my hotel booked for the weekend but changed my mind when I found out it was only going to be a 1 day race.

It was even unreasonable for me to justify the 14 hr round trip and cost.

Maybe next year......

The only reason it wasn't talked about at the HOA race is that I forgot about it. I even told Todd on saturday that was going to anounce it over the weekend. Never thought about it after that. My fault.

I have the results on my stick but, this computer wont read it for some reason. I will get to a different computer and get them posted. Had the same problem with the HOA results.

We are hosting the 1/5 Onroad Nationals this coming weekend so, I am kinda busy but I will get the results up.

The region directorship is up for a vote this year. Get yourself nominated at step up if you want to make a difference.

I vote for YOU on this one. Lets cut Obama & McCain short while we still have a chance.

OK... relax Z. Nobody is giving you CRAP. Plus, I'm not even sure which results your talking about. The only races we've had this year are the HOA race and RCPRO Series race. Both of which the results should be hosted on there own respective website. I was just CURIOUS who all attended the race this year. The least ROAR can do whether it be you or the director or the almighty ROAR itself is post the results of the ROAR regional races for the regions. I understand you've been busy with the 5th scale nats. However, it doesn't take but a minute to upload the results / forward them to ROAR / or add them to a site.

cRAzy... looks like either the word about this race didn't get out or gas prices have really taken a toll on traveling for RC this year. Congrats to Tim Krystal, Eric Jones and Mark Z on your 2008 ROAR Regional Championship titles. I wish more could have attended to compete for the momentous title of a ROAR regional champion. Maybe with more notification and little advertisement more will be able to attend next year.
