Sorry KSU fans.....damn good season though.

Angry CRAP !!!

I decided to pull the servo, guess it is a good thing I did.

Eric, do you have that gear that is broken in the pics?

Close-up

I think the baja is off-line until I can find parts

question is ... do I replace the servo with a 5755 or do I repair the HPI 10 ?

Metal gear set is $40 + s/h and the hitec is $85, will check on the plastic gears, but this thing is not fun to get out so I am not too sure I want to mess with this problem on a regular basis

I have the plastic gear repair set, but that must have been the gear that stripped on mine too since it is the only one missing from the bag.
I just got the plastic gear set and I think it was only like $8-10.

there are 3 repair replacement parts for the HPI 10 str servo ...

stock 80573 $6 bucks
conversion 80584 $25
full metal upgrade 80599 $40

Have either of you had to get back into the servo and replace more than 1 time?

I knew Eric had to repair his, I had forgotten you killed yours too David

So, I just now realized that with a broken servo, I guess we won't be getting together to run R/C's tomorrow. I had alot to do around the house anyway. Plus the weather's not looking quite as nice so..just as well I guess.

I am off Friday the 2nd, maybe I will have parts installed by then. It is going to be a nice week, maybe an early evening play time is in order
