Novelty R/C Raceways

I'm working on the dates for the RC Pro Mo. state series, so as soon as I get that lined out I will get a schedule up soon....I was going to schedule the finals mid Sept., but the buggy nats are 15 thru the 21st I believe, so that won't work as some of the KC guys will be going to that....Gotta keep my "real job" going also....lol

Well its set the opening day at Novelty and it'll be a trophy race. Here's what Rex posted on the novelty site this morning.
Its getting closer.
I have decided on an opening weekend date......It will be April 26th....Our first race will also be a trophy race to get the season going.....To get it going, price on the entry fee will be $15.00 straight across the board.....No discount for additional class, as the price is cheap anyways.....I will decide on what classes I will trophy in.....If some want to run a class that is not listed, then the entry fee will be the normal $10.00, with NO trophies for that class....I will pick 6 or 7 classes to trophy and get a flyer made up a bit later.....I have to get all the Mo. RC Pro Series dates & tracks set.....Lots of bigger races to work around....Real R/C has the first round of the North Division on April 19th.....That is why I decided on the 26th for here......

Cool thread Trevor! I like to see Novelty getting all the exposure it can; definitely a first-class track!
I've been racing there (off and on) for about 5 years now, and will say that it is always the best prepared outdoor track that I have ever personally raced on. Rex spends ALOT of evenings during the week to battle the effects of mother nature, and it really shows on raceday.
If you're in the area, and you're looking for a nice facility to race at, this is the place. The guys (gals) are some of the friendliest in the hobby, and we always have a good time. Not to mention, we have some pretty good wheelmen to offer some decent competition.
Hope to see everyone on opening day!
