Well, I am glad to say that racing at Hobbytown USA in Overland Park is returning......Everyone will have that great track to race at again. Myself and Darkseid will be running the races starting on JUNE 22nd. We both are looking forward to be able to bring a fun and exciting atmoshere back to racing! We will have classes for everyone, so if u have an RC car, bring it out and will set u up! Spread the word!! Cost to race will be $8...$4 for a second class, so everyone will be able to afford to run multiple classes. If anyone has questions either leave it here on this board or drop me a line @ Lydon426@ail.com More info soon!!!!!!
I gotta clear my statement above........We have nothing but respect and apreciation for Chris and Mike and how they ran OP....The whole atmosphere was cool. We want to continue that and make it grow!
Erock, I think were gonna run every other Sunday. I know Fastlane is running too, but I think this will be a different crowd. Mainly newbies, that are intimidated, or are just starting out. Hopefully, and I think it will, all work out. And maybe u hotshoes can drop by once in a while!!!
Darkseid and I are gonna do our best to resume that "family" style racing to OP. Hope to see ya there...... JUNE 22nd!!

Got some more of the details worked out today. Looks like we will for sure run every other Sunday starting June 22nd......going til the third week in Oct. weather permitting.
Heck,I'd buy one of them new shaft driven Yokobrokes before getting a Cuda.....both of them are nothing more than a TC3 copy anyway so you might as well buy my FTTC3 so I can buy another real car(Xray) so that I can have one setup for Topeka and another car setup for the HobbyTown OP tracks.
First off. I dont think that the cuda is a copy of a TC3 Gary.
Just look at the Arm placement. That right there is not even close. The car is so much stronger then the TC3 anyway. The only thing they got in common is the shaft. Don't go making judgements about a car unless you have owned or driven one. Not every car is good for everyone. Why there is so many out there. Pick the one you like and go for it.
And just for the heck of it. The X-Ray is so much of a Xpress copy its not funny. Just a Xpress with some some fancy stuff.
Did you notice that I did not Dog the car. Just stated a opinion.
Jump on the bandwagon.
The problem with racing here in the metropolitan area is that to many people get on this site and cry about stuff. We got it so great here. Got more then one place to race and people who want to make it happen. Just race where you want and have fun. It could be like Doug in Whacheeta - have to drive hour and half just to race. Cool that Charlie want to keep the Hobby alive by keeping the People who wont got to Fastlane interested. Next thing you know and there will be no where to race.
I am not going to get into a discussion match over this stuff. Just have fun and race where ever.
Dang, I think you struck a nerve Gary. Anyone around here ever hear of just joking around, you KC guys get to serious somtimes. Rememder this is just a hobby with hopped up toy cars who give a s@%t if one car looks like another.
