They stopped making the MR12 last year...no longer in production.

No, it's not the carbon fiber boxed one...they have a Sirio EVO2 in.

Also with the ramps..if you guys bring them, then we will also ask you to take it home with you, which I'm sure isn't a problem, since we dont have any extra storage.

It's a new Mugen X12 or something.

It looks like the specs are the same as the Novarossi NS12S3...same hp, rpm etc. So it's probably based on them with a grey head.

but ya know, with an engine with that kind of price, you could get a kick ass jp modified engine or a murnan modified or just about any other motor that less than that mugen. for the kind of racing were doing, i don't see a reason for it. now fast lane, thats another story

with what i just said, ill probably end up getting a sweet motor that i don't need anyway

From what I've heard the NS12 based motors can keep up with and actually beat most modified motors right out of the box.

Ramps don't have to be higher than Mr. Happy is. Actually If you try not to hit the ramp at full throttle then you'll have better luck with breakage. Oh I know how hard it is to let off throttle before a ramp. Monster trucks like to fly, It's their nature. HeeHee.

the best thing to do to save your spurs is let off the throtle, at least in the air. that way the whole drivetrain isnt going hella fast when it hits the ground and the truck isnt travleing as fast as the tires and diffs.

Well racing T-Maxxes has become quite a class from what I understand. So there must be a way to consistently maintain the drivetrain while doing some jumping.

Kscajun, The $19 ramp is exactly what I had in mind. 30 in. wide will NOT be wide enough. Most drivers missed Mr. Happy or ran off the side and tumbled more than making good landings.

Savage...hmmm....have not lost a race to one yet looking forward to seeing yours run.

Robinson diff gears fixes any diff trouble...$42.50 each end.
