Default Difference of opinion...

See this is exactly what we're talking about. Where as one person might say "heat be damned, I want to race" some one else looks at the heat and says "the hell with this, its not worth it".

Thats why we leave it to the racers to vote. And 9 times out of 10, they choose to shorten the day. In years past, when I was just there to race and not help out, I used to vote to continue running dispite the heat, and just about every time I can remember, we always lost!

Lowrance: the Mustang's gone already! Man you must have some hellafied credit to change vehicles like that!

Glad to hear that your still considering running with us this year. I thought you weren't too keen on the Serpent machines? You done got snake bitten since then!

If your considering the R40, then you should know that Neal has pledge some serious support for the car there at HT. Plenty of parts are already on the way!

Warpspeed: Just make sure you have the right chassis for asphalt..there is a big difference!

I think the R40 will be very popular....it's about $100 cheaper than most other kits in the same ballpark.

It would be nice to see the electric sedans get back to the #s we used to see. Last season the Trucks outnumbered us, but I remember sedan having at least twice as many as all others with 2-3 heats of just stock sedan. I'd also like to see more fun classes like the F1, Mini etc...those classes are a ball!

Also...I'm not sure anyone was thinking it, but Nitros run on foams. Unless you like buying 2 sets of rubber tires a weekend and prefer ill handling make sure to pick up a couple sets of foams. 40 or 42 fronts and 37 and 40 rears...they will get you the traction you need...anything softer in the rear is too much traction.

My threshold for heat is lower than most so I'll miss a few races but that is just me.

R-40 parts came in at Hobbytown yesterday.....big box.

Monster truck oval...expert class...lola body...foam....hmmm.

Monster truck oval...
Again, looking at it AS a Monster truck oval, on the "endurance" race, it doesn't appear that there is a race for the Monster Trucks that day.

Then again, on the Monster Truck Challenge, there won't be any "car" stuff either. I dunno.. its just an idea.

I will say that if the Monster Truck Challenge thing is in August, count me out I'd rather run in cooler weather.

Civic is right- $23. You should use the one in the pic. You seem to like it. Try to drive it like you want it to last. If you run 5 min. without hitting the barrier, ( ) I'll buy you a new one myself! Listen to Greg, he wont mislead you. PRACTICE.

First....we won't be running trucks at the Endurance race, and we won't be running cars at the Monster Challege. These actually will fall on Sundays that we wouldn't be racing, so no one will miss any racing because of them...they will be in addition to.

Also...Oval has been mentioned a few times...honestly, it's really difficult to not comprimise the onroad layout to accomadate a easy to transition layout. Either it's a real pain to change or the onroad layout is boring...if we get a big enough call for it we will consider it. But as of right now only 2-3 people have mentioned it.

NTC3...that's between you and John...and no, you can't run a Lola if it's in sportsman. You just need to run that Stratus..it's just paint! It won't last forever...use it for what it was designed for. FYI-the Mazda 6 200mm hasn't even been released yet...just a part number has.
