Ummmm......bodies are pretty much either painted or new in the package. I don't think theres a place to "find them cheap". The average person is looking at $23 or so for a new Mazda 6.

Not quite sure how this "can't get a body, but can pay for the paint" thing works with your mom, but why don't you buy a body and save yourself some money and paint it yourself???

Go ahead, make the leap. Get yourself a nitro touring car. For those who like the idea of nitro shaft drive, the NTC3 isn't the only option out there. Theres also the OFNA LD3 RTR, LD3 Pro, and Kyosho's new FW-05R

But don't let the hype fool you, belt drive is still top dog in ntiro touring, so don't sleep on the belt drive cars.

It will go by quick! This winter is flying by...more so because even though we have stopped racing outside..Greg and I have continued to work on our race program through the off season in hopes to provide an even better race season this year!

Now if only I could get a day or 2 of free time to actually start building my R40!!

well darkseid I cant do a good paint job like the one i want ian to do. And the paint job is cheaper than the body. but less then 23 should work then maybe if u had the body at the meeting i might have more money to buy it then. I wanna change my avatar to my new car body but i dont know how. i have the pic all ready and everything.

Wow, Ian...you charge less than $23 for paint...you need to raise your prices man!!! Take it from me....make them pay what it's worth. I know how long it takes to do a nice paint scheme! It's worth more!!!

NTC3racer869: Man, you got some serious issues going on between what you can do, what you want to do, and what your allowed to do! And it all seems to be centered around this body thing. You are aware that these bodies are considered disposable items in R/C??? You don't want a paint job gracing your car that isn't great, but then you wont use your other body you mentioned, because the paint job is too great. I really hope that CIVIC91 offering to get you this Mazda 6 at a lower cost is enough, because you have stretched this body issue into the realm of complete ridiculousness. Honestly!

You say you have a pic ready, so I'll assume you've already sized it to the required 80x80 pixel size. So heres what you do:

-Look at the very top of the rctech page
-Click on 'control panel'
-now click on 'edit options'
-scroll down to the bottom of the page till you see a pic of your current avatar
-click the button right next the pic that says 'change avatar'
-scroll down to where it says "you can upload an avatar from your computer:"
-there, click the 'browse' button next to the empty space
-now find the pic on your computer, place it in the 'file name' slot and click open.
-the location of the pic will now be in the previously empty slot next to the 'browse' button.
-Now just click the 'Submit Modifications' button and your all set with your new pic.

I am in the process of working on our flyers for the main scheduled races....I am also almost done with the 2 specialty races this year. This time the Endurance race and the Monster truck events will be on seperate days so we can really put on a good show. So far it looks like the Endurace race will be on May 7th, and the Monster truck challenge will be on August 1st. The dates are not set in stone, but most likely will stick.

The classes for the endurace race will be:

Rookie Oval 100 (100laps)

Sedan 150 (Electric sedans-150laps)

Nitro 150 (Nitro sedans - 150laps)

**NEW** Formula One 100 (F201 chassis 100 laps)


For the Monster truck challenge we will split into 2 categories this year:

Unlimited Truck (Anything goes if it's a monster truck and 4wd)

Stock truck (For the box stock engine trucks)

There will not be a class for 2wd trucks, but you are all welcome to bring them out for exhibition. If we were to get at least 3 requests for that class, we could open it up.

The Monster challenge will have a new event this year...The 3 will be Drags, Long Jump, and obstacle course!
