Thanks to ALL...

I just wanted to say thanks to all the people who came out to run with us today. Plenty of seasoned vets and racers who made this their first race ever and everyone inbetween.

Thanks to those guys who made the trip out from Lawrence and to the regulars from out at Mike's R/C who made the trip. (Speaking of Mike's, don't forget that the races happen out there every Saturday night. So lets try to return the favor of their appearance in OP with our attendance out there. )

Also thanks to all those who stuck it out with us as it started to rain and helped to tear the track down in record time.

Plenty of smiles on the faces of racers and spectators! Can't beat that!

See ya in 2 weeks on July 6th...

Darkseid....aka Greg

sounds like you guys had a good first weekend, wish I could have made it out.

Also don't forget that Mike's is planning a trophy race the weekend of july 19th and 20th, we are still unsure of the racing scedual, we are thinking of running stock and mod on seprate days, or running 3 heats on sat, then one more heat and the mains on sunday. Feel free to give us your input we would like to make it as convenient as possible for everyone. I still havn't heard an entry fee, I'll keep you posted. when we get everything figured out we might send flyers out.

Looks like good hot racing weather out this Sunday!! We will be racing if anyone wondered. We have come up with some cool ideas on how to make it even more FUN!! We will continue to have technical track layouts......but now with larger lanes. We are also considering some cool options for the TMaxx class!!! Come on out and check it out!!!!

Default Options!

Hey civic- What are you thinking of for the trucks? (jumps, oval, tricks, freestyle, obstacle course?) My choice: figure eight! Big truck high speed uncontrolled intersection...... and the crowd goes wild!

Yeah!! Rather than counting laps for T-Maxxs why not just make it last truck running?

Default Figure 8....

.....uuuuuummmmmmm......no

It was apparent that the cinderblocks were doing enough damage to the T-Maxxes out there!

We would like to see more E-Maxxes out there to go along with the T-Maxxes. And how about some HPI Savages too! And any of the many, MANY variations of OFNA monster trucks! Ohhh.....boy!

-Sedans-

- I know we'll have a few more nitro sedan guys out there. We also hope to get some more electric sedans out there too.

-other classes-

Don't forget, we'll run any class that has at least three somewhat alike vehicles. So bring 'em out.

And don't forget guys...car pooling is okay. So bring friends with you!!!

Default Reminder...

Just a reminder to everyone to bring your DC cables for your chargers. Theres not much AC power availible, so don't get caught out without your cables.

We do keep a iron ready at the tent for any soldering work that needs to be done. But other than that, everything else needs to be run off DC power.

Default Race track pipes

Hey Charlie, if you would like all the pipe that Chris gave us you are welcome to come and get it all, we installed boards and don't need it, but you can have it for your races. Maybe that will help.
Just call me at Fastlane to let me know.(816)220-0100.

Thanks for the offer, but I think were ok......Were trying to keep storage at a minimum. Lots of stuff to gather in my garage...LOL...Hope u guys have a great race this weekend! I would be there if I had a gasser ......maybe next year!!

As for OP.....lookin very HOT this weekend.....So if u have a tent, or can borrow one I strongly suggest it...we will have plenty to drink to keep everyone hydrated!!! We have a bunch of new racers headed out this weekend in all different classes, so were growing!!......P.S.......The DRAGGER will fly Sunday! Period!!!

Thanks again Fastlane!! Hope EVERYONE has a great Holiday weekend....don't burn yourselves with the sparklers!!!
