subject: Take-Off tires and wheels
I presume several touring car drivers will be using Take-off tires? R/C Zone Central in Lenexa carries the Take-off tires, does HobbyTown on metcalf?
I also have a HPI Super Nitro RS4 project which will have a Wasp .26 and then another HPI R40 stock project, but what class would they go into for the parking lot races?

well,by the looks of things in Topeka....there should be a decent used setup for sale pretty soon at far less than 5 grand.
Yeah, it's a shop at 87th and Pflumm in Lenexa...they carry lots of truck stuff, but I think he can get most anything.
Yes, Hobbytown carries the pre-mounted Takeoffs.
Not sure on the Super Nitro, but the R40 could run in either Sportsman Nitro or Expert Nitro depending on driving ability.
We'll see....if he sells those transponders cheap...I mean real cheap we may consider it... I don't like having every dollar for the whole year going towards them though.

Yeah.....unfortunately, it is starting to look that way. I'm still hoping though...
I wouldn't mind having a set, but they would have to be at a REALLY good price.
Take off tires have been available at HT-OP for quite some time. Along with many other choices. Don't forget the new store is the closest to the racing facilities.
When you say racing facility, are you talking about FastLane's real track or parking lot racing off of Metcalf?
BTW, R/C Zone Central opened it's doors early this January (new store in Lenexa, Kansas) which offers kits, parts, hop-ups, tools but more derived for R/C racers and not only Monster trucks drivers. It was built ground up by a racer who has been racing for 7 years and decided to turn a fun hobby into a store with a touch of friendly atmosphere. More hobby shops is what we need in the Kansas City area as there are lots of people who own R/C vehicles and there is not really enough good stores that carry lots of items in stock for the wide variety of vehicles on the market. Why should a person shop online for a better price or custom part, when there are several good stores in town. Please support your local hobby shops.
Hi Chris!! Congrats on the new shop in Lee's Summit.
Glad to see you are still racing. Still smoking veryone?
