Trees in woods make noise when they fall....listen close....
Cool. If we have any young 20% runners out there with us, I'll see if they want it. I just don't want to waste the stuff. That crap cost too much for someone not to get to use it!
CIVIC: Its going to be dry tomorrow....I'll will it to be dry tomorrow!
Hey, I just heard from Mike( www.mikesrctopeka.com ) that Tekin is about to get a ressurection! Finally, someone decided to save the maker of the best RC electronics in the world!
No offense to the parking lot guys (I love racing that way too) but if some of you Monster Truck guys want to race practice etc.. outdoors well head out to Pleasant Hill Sunday at 1pm
With the rain tonight, it may be canceled. To find out for sure go to the web site, and call the number at the track. There will be an answering machine that picks up with a message if the track is open or not.

Yep, stock slipper & pegs, and I put pegs in all the holes to increase the surface area, and ran it tighter. All this to compensate for the extra weight of the Big Joes. Also using an 18t bell. I'll figure it out, always have before...
Man, save you guys nonesense for another thead, cause we don't want that crap here.
Your jumping on people for posting a link to that site and trying to get people to go to the track?
Hey, what am I saying? What the hell do I care, thats up to you...If your that serious about this stuff, and your that upset with him, then PM him or email him or give him the evil eye or something, but whatever you do, it has no place here on the OP thread.
Hey Kris, take a pill ok? I'm just trying to help Steve get a turn out for practice, and maybe if a few guys like running on that huge outdoor track for free, maybe they will come out and pay to race on race nights.
Its all about some on track competition, I'm just looking to get some more out there for the monster truck class.
Dude don't get me started on fuel. Do some research. Dyn fuel is not crap. Honestly I've sold a thousand gallons of Dyn over the years and all is well. Methanol,Nitromethane, and various % synthetic or castor or a blend of both, and thats it. It ain't rocket fuel or brain surgery. Don't make it harder than it really is. O'Donnell says you get more RPM from 10%, know why?
Chris K - Why on earth would you mind if Marcus posted a link to Steve's track. Is there something wrong? Please let me know. Is this something Hillbilly does not want done. Thanks.
OK, I'm going to make 1 post here and then I'll shut up and deal with each person who jumped back at me individually at my own time and choosing so that we don't "clog the system" as Dark infers....... What each of you may or may know know at this point (because I removed the picture) was that there WAS a picture inserted in Marcus' post. I also SPECIFICALLY state "material" in my post - not LINK. The issue (as Craig has helped me point out below) is that of the PICTURE, not the link! Even 'ole dumb butt me knows that links are fine!
In order:
Craig: I have cut and pasted for your pleasure:
The Ninth Circuit parsed the case into two distinct issues. The first, which is
discussed in subsection B, concerned the reproduction of the photographs as
thumbnail images. The second involved the use of inline links and frames to display
those images within the context of the search engine’s web site.
Accordingly, the court held that the unauthorized inline linking to or
framing of copyrighted photographic images was not a fair use, but constituted an
infringement of a copyright holder’s public display right.
Sooo, my understanding is that if you want to use the image, if you copy it and host it in a thumbnail form, that's fine. My objection is that the image is NOT being hosted separately BUT linked to (and utilizing the bandwidth of) the Real R/C web site.
Dark: No, that's not at all what I was trying to do! Not even close; walk back 3 steps and read WHAT I posted, OK???? As you suggested (since I appear to have raised quite a stink - quite unintentionally I might add!), I will take it elsewhere.
John: Read my friend, please READ. Nothing was said about a link - it's the PICTURE that was attached to that posting that concerns me - the links to the web site are proper and certainly no problem.
Marcus: read above and you will understand......... I have NO problem with ANY ONE linking to the Real R/C site; as Craig points out there is no infringement there at all. Direct linking of pictures is a whole other can of worms though.......
Soooo, if anyone DOES NOT understand my position on this matter at this point, to avoid clogging as our Moderator (right???) Darkseid suggests, please feel free to contact me via email or in person.
Uhhh.....anyways, rolleyes: who's all coming out today??:Bring some 2 liters of grape or orange so we can make some traction! I'll be out there around 10:30...see ya there.
