Yes, behind the transmission shop. That will be the back of the building where the track is. The entrance will be through a gated area on the other side of the building that you will enter from the left hand side of Shirley's parking lot. The back corner door in that area will open into the pit area.

Oh I'm far from being a fanatic about college football but Mo. is playing the best football they've played in years. Trust me I'd rather be racing.

I am still planning on having clay, but I will not know for sure until our friends at Todd Hauling drop it off.

This weekend I took on the project that I have been dreading at the new track. I had to tear out a 40ft section of the roof, replace all of the framing, and install new sheeting on it. I also had to tear out the header and some of the framing and replace it on the opening from the pit area into the track area. I'm freakin' worn out, but I am also getting excited now. After that project, I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel!

Next Saturday and Sunday I will be getting the last of the stuff out of the building so that I can start spreading out dirt. If anyone would like to come out and help, please do. I still have alot of stuff to move, so more hands would definately help get the track ready to go sooner. If we can get enough done, I believe that I could open the track the following weekend.
I know that some guys were offering to bring out their bobcats to help if needed. I am planning on having one at the track with forks to help move the big stuff, but if you would still like to bring one to help, then feel free to do so. The lot that I will be using for parking is a mix of gravel and asphalt that needs to have all of the weeds cleared out. I would think that we could clear that out with a bobcat bucket, unless someone has a better idea.
I will let you know more as the week progresses.
Thank you for your patience!
