The owner of the building wants to have all of his stuff out of the building before I allow anyone else in the building. The problem is that he has a ton of stuff in there and I am doing it all myself right now. I am getting pretty close though to getting it all out. I will let you guys know as soon as I do, so volunteer's can come out and help get this thing ready so we can start racing!!

Default Classes Racing

Well I may be putting the cart before the horse here, but I was wondering what classes you are planning on running at the track? I have been out of RC racing for quite awhile, but want to get back in it and I am just wondering what kind of car/truck I should get.

Any thoughts on what will be the big class?
Thanks!
Doug

So why is 4wd mod taking off? By Mod do you mean brushless? Also what is the hot ticket in batteries now, NiMH or LiPo?

Associated's B44 is out now and and its cheap, Under 300, Almost everyone has gotten one. Lipo's are not yet ROAR legal. Most people still run NiMH's 3800 or 4200 mah.

It is true that Lipo's are not ROAR legal yet, but I will be allowing them as long as the vehicle makes the ROAR legal weight.

Scott,
I know you must be swamped trying to get things together on the track, but if you have any rules or class structure already laid out, can you post them someplace? I would like to know what you are thinking so I can see about getting cars for my dad and I so we can come out and support the track.

Thanks!
Doug

I sure the classes will be Stock(brushed) Truck and Buggy, Mod Truck and Buggy, and 4WD Mod. Maybe a novice class. ROAR rules except Lipo's in mod will be allowed. But I could be wrong.

Brushless motors will be ran in the "Mod" class only.
I would suggest getting a 7.5 or 10.5 for 2wd vehicles & probably a 6.5 for 4wheel.
