Yeah, theres a bunch of people in Wichita.. That is if you race off road...
Ask the guys at Hobbytown if theres any racers in town.... We just raced tonight, and had a great turnoit! Check the race results...

I am moving to Wichita here in a few weeks...is there any on road action going on? What about when the weather turns bad? Any indoor places?

Sorry but onroad died about the time the sedans got upwards of $450 = 1/8 offroad buggies and truggies. The only place you can run onroad still (excellent facility I might add) is in Enid, OK. Enid is about 2 hours south of Wichita. Guess you could go north to Blue Springs, MO (Kansas City), they have a huge outdoor asphalt track and an indoor carpet track. I think Topeka, KS has some outdoor onroad racing going on too.

For indoor racing you have Hutchinson that is 45 min north/west, place is called HP Hobbies. They have an indoor offroad and dirt oval track. Or you can go south to Enid, they have onroad concrete/asphalt covering, small 1/18 scale dirt oval track or the indoor offroad track.

Not much going on around Wichita unless you are into 1/8 offroad racing. If you like any other form of racing plan on traveling 2+ hours.
