This could be my first big on-road race, might run 1/12 mod lipo,if you have that class or maybe just 1/12 stock

Default 4300 Brushless Touring class

It's alittle early but, looks like the 4300 Touring class will be running rubber tires at the PLEX this fall and the Midwest Carpet Onroad Championships. The feedback I've gotten has been about 3 to 1 in favor of rubber tires. I know the responses from here were for foams but, the decision went to the majority.

Hey Tim,
If you have enough that wanted foams, would you consider running a rubber class AND a foam class??? If so, how many entries do you need to make that decision? 5, 10, 15? I would help push for the pre-registration around here if needed.
Thanks for your consideration. We can't wait to be there.

Jon,
If we had 6 or 8 we could probably have a class. Right now we have at least that many commited to running rubber tires.

I would rather have all the 4300s run together in one class rather than splitting it up. In my opinion, having a class with 12 to 15 cars would be better than having two classes with less than 10 cars each. Really my only other concern is to not have too many classes that would stretch out the racing on Sunday. The earlier we can get done on Sunday, the sooner guys who have a long trip will be home.

I'm not squashing the idea, just want to make sure it's in our best interest. Heck, to be honest, my vote was to run foams. Let me know what you come up with, as long as we have enough preregistered by the deadline so that I have trophies, we can make it happen.

Thanks Tim!
I'll see what I can do around here.
Our 4300 class is just starting to take off and it is all about the foams.
