Why no practice Friday? Big races always have practice on Friday. So if the track opens at 8 on Saturday then when do we start qualifying?

Thanks Stlfc...

This race will run according to the HOA schedule other than the track will be open 2 hours sooner (8 AM) for practice on Saturday morning.

I doubt that I race both. I'll most likely just run the HOA race.

Kevin, I did not get to catch up with you after the races last night at dirtburners. I wanted to thank you for pitting me.
Hopefully you get that new X-Ray out there soon.

Couple ???s Is N. 5th street open south of the track. Can I get through to 70? Or is it closed from flooding?

Also, where is the closest hobby store to the track?

The nearest hobby shop is Mark Twain Hobbies. I don't believe any of the streets are closed from the flooding in that area (5th). If you coming directly from KC why not just take 70 east to 370 east. That would be much quicker.

That's the way I will be coming, but I am staying just south of 70 and Google says to take 5th st. south to the hotel. Thanks for the info...I assume they carry nitro needs there?

If you are staying at the Embassy Suites that is correct. And you can take 5th street north till it ends, make a right, go down to the stop light, which is Hwy 94/3rd street and make a left. After that you go down maybe a 1/2 mile to Hawning Rd., which will be on your right. After that follow the Evolution signs!!
And Mark Twain will have most of what you need fuel and such, I don't know if they have tires or not though or much in the way of parts for nitro on-road.
