This past weekend here in town they had the Nitro Off Road RCPro Series race and I was told that they started with one heat of 1/10th electric truck and then ended up combining them with the 1/10th nitro trucks.

I don't know all of the politics of the RCPro Series, but I would like to see more cars on the track!! Even if they can not be entered into the RCPro Series race, maybe the electric sedans could still use the same track to have a race on that weekend!

It would be nice to run on the same weekend of Pro Series. I do not know if this could workout. Maybe race the electric class 3 heats and a main for Saturday. That is if there is time. Or do it Sunday. I think if electrics race a 1 day we may be able to get more out of towner's out. But with gas at $4 in some states this may not happen.

I wonder how many other Pro Series nitro racers that will be attending might have electric cars they could/would run the same weekend? If it is a go to run the electric cars is there a website we can let others know?

I just want to race mod sedan at the track.

MOD SEDAN WILL run during the RC Pro Series. It'll follow the regular schedule. There will be 3 quals on Saturday, 1 qual on Sunday and then mains. We may be able to do triple A-Mains. MAY.... We'll see how the attendance turns out. I want to be able to offer triple A-Mains as long as time permits.

You still have a couple of weeks to get it ready. I believe that there will be an off road race every day that we have a race at Evolution, so if that is your reason, then you might as well sell your on road stuff!

If theres a Electric Sedan Class at the Pro race, ill try my hardest to get a XXX-S ready! And to get off work! Do we have to be there on Fri.? Do we have to be a member of RC Pro Series to race? Or just be a member of ROAR? Also, is there anybody that could prolly loan me a transponder? Looks like iam nt goona be racing Dirt Oval for a couple of weeks to get a Electric Sedan car?

I got a little info all the lipo guys. Upon getting my lipo pack everyone told me not to worry about balance charging while at the track.

This is not true because if one cell gets a little off it will cause the other cell to slightly overcharge thus giving you the "puffed Pack."

I found this out the hard way, and was giving the correct info by Steve Rodgers of trakpower. Really good company even though I didnt bal charge they still honored the waranty.

He also said not to trust the lipo cutoff feature because the amps and voltage change as you accel and decel. and even though the cutoff kicked in your voltage could still drop below 3 volts per cell.

He finally said that balance charging will take the same amount of time once the cells get into the routine of being balanced.

I know wrong thread for the post but we dont want any flaming lipo paks down the 200ft straight.

I've used Maxamps lipos for the 1/18th scale for 2 years and never balanced them, the only way I did damage one was by leaving it plugged in over the week after racing.

O ya!!! ive got a XXX-S coming next week! Iam ordering LOTS of spares from Losi Parts House, Rubber tires, 10T Brushed Motor, and a BRAND NEW Battery just for the RC Pro Series! Gonna start practing REALLY hard for the next 2 weeks at the local tennis court.

Do we have to pre-register at RC Pro Sites.com? Or is the Electric Sedan not in association with RC Pro Series?
