Thanks Drew for opening the track for us yesterday. It was such a beautiful day to be outdoors and at the track.

This coming Saturday is a trophy race in Jonesboro Arkansas. It is 265 miles from Florissant. This is the track that will be hosting the ROAR Paved Nationals in June.

I am going down. Larry is not sure if he will go. Is there any other electric racers interested in carpooling down? The idea is to leave early Saturday morning and driving down, then returning Saturday night.

So who's still planning on going to the Midwest Series Race in Cinci next weekend? I am on the fence right now because of travel the following week. But if enough STL guys are going - I may just have to piss off the wife and go.

I'm planning on going. I got approval from the wife already so I'm good.

That is for the Orion lap counting system. It will not work with AMB stuff.

The last time I was at Checkered Flag they had a box of transponders. I think they were close to $100. But that is the going price of a new one at most places now. 1 of the ones I have a paid $55 for in 2003

I have purchased used ones on rctech before for much less than $100.

Default PT's

Check out this thread about MRT PT's. I'd like to sell all of mine and get replacement clones as these are the best in PT's. A guy I race carpet with got a couple and has never missed a lap that we have found. Also they hold power for a few moments after the battery is turned off, something internal. I haven't read all of the in and outs yet. I did read they're offering non-clone PT's now too. If I had to start over again I would choose these. IMO

Those clone units look nice. I know a guy in Ohio that just got his back. It took a month to get them back. Much less than a new PT from AMB that is for sure.
