Default US / Can military deployed in Middle East

Good day,

Several years ago it was common to build a RC car track or a bash pit in theatre. I would like to know where their is still active track or bashing folks.

Last than I've heard from was in Kuwait, but since then it has probably been dismantled.

If you dont want to reveal your location, just send info thru private message so I can relay without giving up identity.

depends on your chain of command. Also if you get it shipped there. Also depends on your location. In a forward operating base or a tent city I certainly wouldn't allow it because of fire hazard.

I certainly wouldn't try and fit rc in my mobility bag with my gear when I was in. Also charging batteries could be a real pain.

When I was in military, this would probably fall under category of "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission".

I'm pretty sure I was the first and last person to skateboard at one particular deployment location. Shortly after I started riding a new general order came down from base commander banning it.

In a good amount of deployments you will have some down time, but the tents they used for us at that time burnt up very fast when a small fire would start.

Thanks for the response Dave S was actually curious about that. Wonder what the higher-ups would say if they ever see someone driving an RC in the deck of an aircraft carrier lol
