hiya folks!
I am situated in Singapore where the ZX1 is being tested by our local drivers and a factory driver from taiwan.
The castor racing ZX1 is doing well in our local series races.
i have personally driven one(having won one in a raffle). it is a WORLD of difference, it only LOOKS like a mugen mbx5(which i also own, the buggy i drove just before i tried the castor)
the suspension geometries are different and i have weighed the components against the mugen parts, there is an average weight savings of about 4 grams per component..... that is a lot of weight when you fix up the car... also, and more importantly, the diffs are approximately 15 grams lighter in weight when compared to mugens...each!
the car feels very light on acceleration and top speed. and turns easily...
obviously, more weight can be shaved with the use of light -weight pivot balls , titanium components and screws..
but as is, its just the lightest buggy you can find on the market right about now.
ciao!

p.s. i'll write up a review in a bit
