Track will be in great shape and the weather will be too! Kind of a tune-up race for the following weekends leg of the MWS in Cincy. Hope to see everybody this weekend and next!
On a side note, I get Emails via my towns watchdog group. This weekend on 80/94, they are going to have a zero tolerance policy in affect for any and all traffic offences. How this is going to work is beyond me. Anyway, just a heads up. Be alert. Safe travels.

Happy Easter!!! The TeamNitro guys are looking forward to another great season! Lots of improvements and a slightly larger layout. Estimating a test and tune on May 03. Dust off those cars and get them ready!

We will run any class that has 3 or more cars. Nitro Sedan is by far the most popular. 1/8th scale is going to be on the upswing this year. $15 is the entry fee. A usual race day starts with practice at 10 and racing starts Noon. Depending on turnout the race start time can be adjusted. Any more questions, please ask.

I would buy a used car/setup off the for sale forum on this sight. Our club gets a bulk order of fuel at the beginning of each season. We run on foam rubber tires. Your mylaps will work. Most of us had our start racing offroad and either made a complete switch or run both classes. Pete at Fierce RC runs both pretty regularly. He also has a nice Serpent car for sale. If you don't have a car by the time our season starts, come on down and you can see what's happening. Pretty sure you'll like it!

The Portage Club has been making great strides for a May 3 starting date. The drivers stand has been re-decked and painted. The perimeter boards are new and are 80% painted. The track will be enlarged and moved about 15' to the east away from the woods and the dreaded late afternoon shadows.. It's now 200'X98'.
We race every weekend except when a MWS race is taking place. And their may not be enough to race the weekends of the Byrons and the GLC. Even then, the track will be open. Although it may not be prepped. The WHOLE track is cleaned and prepped before every race day. The guys take pride in having a great race surface. Traction is very good and tire wear is low. Check us out!

After many requests and a short discussion, A test and tune will be happening SATURDAY. Sorry to the guys who work Saturdays, but it is Moms Day weekend and this seemed a viable option.. All this depends on Mom Nature of course. Hope for the best.

The following weekend, May 16th, is the first leg of the MWS in Toledo. All club members are attending. The track will be available for practice, but untreated.

Default Whiting's

We are thinking about coming up there and running with you guys one weekend before the June 13 - 14 MWS series race. It appears that you guys run Sunday's. Is that correct?

Thanks

Jeff

We are there every Sunday, except for the away MWS races, Byrons, and the GLC. Looking forward to seeing Team Whiting!

LOTS of work today! Track will be prepped and ready tomorrow by 10am. It will be a test and tune only. We will be testing scoring/timing and making small tweaks to the track. Forecast looks favorable for a day long event. Come on out and burn some fuel or use up some battery packs. It'll all be fun!
