Unfortunately no, its the only class to have any rules in our race program. But there was some buzz about a mod scb class any spec combo no timing, if you plan on racing in the points series then its the Novak 17.5 combo, but you can still come out and race jus not going count because it is a ruled class. Come check us out on sundays play/practice is a run-what-u-brung deal.

the rules for spec class any shortcourse buggie 1/10 scale any short course tire and only novak club spec 17.5 ecs/motor combo and thats it you can modify everything else and run whatever gearing you want and the to go in depth about the tire rule as long the tire was designed for the shortcourse truck its all good you cant put the 17mm adapter to run buggy rims and tires and i suggest calibers 2.0 med but with the 17.5 it really doesn't matter

Any of you guys running the associated scb tell me what gear ratio your running with the novak club combo? I don't want to burn mine up. My plan is 75 spur 28 pinion.

Watch the temp. Also, if you're still running the stock rear tires you should look for some wider offset rims.

I've been going down on spurs since I started running my scb. I'll be running 78-28 the next time I'm at the track or Ill switch to a 75-28. Just shoot the temp. After about 4 minutes to be on the safe side.
