A lot of work has been done on the track to make it a great place to race. Pit space with tables, electricity, and shade is provided!

Hope to see you there!

Aloha Race World Hawaii racers. I've been wondering... what class would ne good for a newbie? I've never had an on road car before, what is the more popular class/car for beginner to start with, something that can be upgraded?:weird::confused:

GT is friendly. Looks good driving, spoke rims, just charge your batteries and play. With the juiced track, you don't have to get crazy tuning for more grip.

If you want to see your car fly down the straight like a missile, then boosted is what you want.

Thanks goots, where will you be racing this Sunday and what kit would you recommend for a newbie?

Im gnna be playing at TRCC because of the schedule change. Ill prolly bring my on-road cars with me to work on during my heats. As far as for a car to pick, really depends on your budget. I know Keiji is doing well with his plastic car;)

Had a good time racing yesterday even with the low turn out. Nice and relaxing. Goots your 12th better be running good, cause my new one is just as fast or faster then my old one. Was bummed could not run boosted TC yesterday, cause I need to feel the speed. Can't wait to see your exo conversion for your TA06 Keiji.

Great day racing yesterday despite the low turn out. My F1 was handling really good and I am really looking forward to making this class work! It was actually handling better than my 1/12th! It was really great having BC back out and racing again :) Traction was a bit on the low side with the reduced sugar water mixture but I think that has more to do with that we swept the track instead of using the blower. I am planning on power washing the track the day before the next race to try and get rid of any loose paint that we have been finding since the lines were repainted. Looking forward to having a full turn out next race and hopefully a few new faces!

I'll be there for the next one. I'm starting on my conversion today. I don't think it will make me any faster, but just looks pretty:)

Ill try:sweat: My car pushes to much in the corners with the purple fronts. Anyway to remedy it without buying new tires? Dont really want to spend money on other compounds untill I deplete all the purples I have.

InspGadgt 01-09-2012 04:47 PM

Use more compound up front like maybe half instead of 1/3rd or the full tire if need be. Also you can increase your caster blocks if you are running less than 10*, run less caster, or go to a softer front spring.

Ive read somewhere that moving battery towards the back increases steering?

Ill try put the car back to kit settings and try your suggestions
