I haven't heard anything from BC yet on when/if the track will re-open. But we did make progress on forming a club this weekend.

First off I want to thank everyone who volunteered to help out. We will need your help in the future as we move forward. This weekend the 4 people who volunteered first met to discuss the club's organization and things pertinent to the classes. The club name we came up with is 50th State Radio Controlled Association or 50RCA for short. With this name we can branch out into all different areas as a need arises. The race committee will consist of the 4 club officers plus 1 club member. The 5th slot is an alternating position that will rotate through club members who wish to participate. We hope this structure will foster more communication from the members to the race organizers. Right now the club officers are as follows:

President - Burt Hooker
Vice President - Daniel Strasser
Treasurer - Frank Robertson
Secretary - Will Wong

The size and makeup of the committee will likely change in the future as people move in and out of various roles and as we expand into other activities. Now that the specifics are decided the paperwork to make everything official should be done shortly.

We are also planning on having a mission statement to help guide the organization moving forward. If any of you have ideas on what should be in the mission statement we welcome your suggestions. Any ideas, suggestions, or concerns can be sent to me at [email protected]

I hope we can start racing again soon!
Burt

Anybody wants a HP PSC 1610 All-In-One printer? The only problem I know of is a error comes up saying need to load paper in tray when there is paper. Might be an easy fix or not. Bought a new printer.

Maybe the club could use it.

Seems to be a sensor problem. Not an easy fix.

Is using the Exotech IFS front end or the Serpent damper front end or similar front ends legal here?

Are there rules for F1 here?

Basically 190mm and the front end needs to be somewhat scale. We basically don't want regular pan car suspension arms mounted on plates outside of the body. By that definition the Exotech and Serpent front ends would be legal.

What up peeps? Have not touch my car since the last race, F1 still missing parts. Maybe we need some old days Saturday night F1 racing.
