Had a great time racing with all you guys in 2wd, 4wd and Stadium / shortcourse truck..... I don't think I turned my Radio off at all tonight.....lol. I just wanted to get as much track time as possible and test myself with three cars that drive totally diffrent. Anyways, it was fun. Race you all again soon.

Who is racing Saturday? Seems Saturday has been hit or miss on the crowd. I will be on vacation next weekend and need to race. Looks like rain Saturday here in Dalton....

I'm going to try and make it for SCT and 2WD if work doesn't get in the way. Will be there on my own though, kids are out of town this week..

Hey Looper, I can't race Sat but you can get you a crowd if you will post a new thread about what I'm about to say here, I have started to many new threads but this needs to be a thread so more racers will see the headline.

I will be the first to admit I get excited when something comes along that works and works well, Weds night the track was great, clean, traction, driveablity was all over the top.

BUT TODAY THURSDAY THE 16TH, I went over to the track to put a little water on it to see how the glue accepted the moisture. I mostly wet the edges heavy and the groove a little heavy. Stopped a few minutes 5 to 10 minutes and talked with Latney, I told him I had to go, he said "your not going to run your car?" I said no it will most likely just be to slippery, he said "but you don't know".
So I took my car out of the box plugged up the battery, didn't sauce, didn't check ride height, didn't change radio adjustments, just set it on the track and walked up the drivers stand.

I sorry guys that I'm not educated enough to explain how that car handled on the wet track, I had Proline Primes super soft front and rear it was MUCH, MUCH more responsive than Weds night.

Latney told me "I needed to tighten my diff", the diff was tight there was just a hint of diff noise at some points when I pulled full throttle, but the traction was greater than Weds, every aspect of car vs track the car won, I did pull the throttle very hard and fast in the deepest part of the corner just to spin it out, COULD NOT DO IT, the car either shot out of the corner like a rocket or pulled a wheelie, I would throw full brake the car just stopped, even in the corner.

Brad has a very nice 15 gallon sprayer on wheels, battery operated, the track can be dampen easy in 10 to 15 minutes. There will very little need to blow the track any more, by wetting the glue you truly will not be prepared for the tracks traction.

Tomorrow night we will be running on the track wet, watch for the reviews.

See you Friday night and you guys have fun Sat, I'll have a idea on watering techiques for you guys running Sat. Carl Knight

Can't wait to get back to try it out. I will definitely be watching for updates the next few days.
