Hope you got someone running the program that's gonna keep it tight!!! I liked the idea of having the marshals check in in Savannah. I felt it sped up the process having assigned spots with a 3 min call between race's. Looking forward to this race for sure!!! See you guys tomorrow for practice

Track is ready practice tomorrow until 10pm, I'll check the track over fix any little bumps or pipes, wet down the edges a lot the groove just a little.
Then we will be ready to open a 8am Sat, only 12 drivers on the drivers stand
for only 10 mins at a time, until control practice starts.

Don't forget to corner after your 10 min run!

Track was awesome! First time running ebuggy and first time running slicks on a 1/8 scale. Thanks to everyone that put on the race and Matt for all the set up help. Ended up finishing 4th and at 2am.

Thanks D-Man I really like work on the track and keeping it it good race condition! The dust must be addressed I know wetting the track slows the lap times down at first, but it does keep the dust down. I needed to hear from you guys some Ideas about dust control that's do able, Calcium is made to make the dirt hard an keep the dust down we can try that again, because I know it's not such a problem on a light race night but when we hit the track hard like we this this weekend we need to have a plan.

As for as it being a long race night I think next time when drivers leave the drivers stand they will exit behind the stand but this time we will put up a temp wall to make you go onto the track, yes we will put a table by the stairs (that we build) up to the track for cars and radio.

I wish there was a way to set the race up to where once the two minute clock was up the track would go live, no line up just when you crossed the line you would be on the clock. I know all cars would have to past the line before,
the car or leader that past the line first makes it back around to the line.
But that is up to the driver being ready if seven other racers are ready then 8th one should be too.
I know first hand what it's like to miss a race but it's not fair to the racers that are ready.
Together we will figure it out and keep streamlining this until we get it down.

Great race, Thanks Brad for all you do!

Carl, if we blow the track off and wet the edge hard, that will also keep the dust down. (Not in the groove) If you looked at the end of the night parts of the track was still damp. Wet the edges really good and we should be OK.
