Sunday's at Hotshot's
Putting out another feeler thread.
I am putting together the race schedule for the rest of the year, and we are considering the idea of closing on Thursday's and opening Sunday's 12-6.
I have tried this before with no luck at all, but that was with a carpet offroad track that no one was really interested in.
If we open on Sunday's will folks show up to practice/play?
If we have a Sunday Series, One Sunday a month for 3-4 months would folks be interested?
Please let us know !

I would like to have a practice day on Sunday, also a good chance to get some new racers in to practice.

What classes do you guys run there? Have been interested in coming down, but we generally have races on Saturdays up here, so Sunday races may give me a chance to.

I would absolutely make it on Sunday. Saturday is tough because my wife thinks I should be spending time with her (silly girl) but Sunday is almost always open for me. I think this would be great. (And for me personally Thursday's don't work anyway because you're only open during the day when I have to work so no real loss closing them IMO).

With outdoor season cropping up It would be a good way to get people into HS that normally run nitro on Saturday's

For me, practice yes, race no. With Friday and Saturdays as race days, I personally run into issues of not having time to actually just run laps and work on car setup.
My suggestion (which suits me and not necessarily anyone else) is race either Saturday or Sunday, but not both. Alternate or whatever makes sense for people, but I know there is a decent Saturday crowd of newer people that show up at noon and leave at 3 when the racing starts and this may be a way to let them run more then just a few hours before things get serious.
I do know if I am racing Saturday (inside or out) chances are I am not racing Sunday. I used to come in with Joe on Sundays and we do test and tune which I know I enjoyed/needed immensely. With 2 cars (I did Stock and Mod last Sat) I can be on the track 20-30min of every hour on a practice day, vs a 5 min qualifier once every 90 min.
Just my personal opinion, but do whatever is best for the majority.
