Any RC Boat action around the Marietta area? Any good ponds to play on?

Yes Steve. My father has a nice private pond behind him that I used to run on many years ago. All you need to bring him is a stiff Gin & Tonic and you are golden.

I like to take mine out on Allatoona via my friends 1:1 boat. Nice to have an easy way to retrieve it when it flips over. Red Top mountain has a few lake access areas that are out of the way and pretty smooth water.

I know this isn't in Marietta, but they have a nice pond for RC boats down on the southside of Atlanta.

I will keep that in mind. My step dad builds custom boats. He and my mom are moving to GA in July. He was looking for a pond to play on.
