For this years Psycho we have adjusted the scheduling for the qualifiers to end before or shortly after midnight on Friday and Saturday night. You will still get the "around the clock" practice.....up to 30 hours straight but the qualifying days will finish before or shortly after midnight. But hey, its the Psycho Nitro Blast and it's far from your typical RC event. Not to mention plenty of Monster Energy and Insomnia Coffee for everyone.
Lot's of non-stop racing from Thursday .. on .. Promise!!

Former IFMAR World Champion and Team Associated driver Neil Cragg from the UK has taken top honors at the first race of Season 1 at Psycho Nitro Blast ’12. The 20 minute long final saw Neil coming out on top after a fierce battle with David Barcena from Spain and Barnabas Toth from Hungary.
These 3 racers changed the lead several times, and only in the last 2 laps Cragg managed to drive away and to win with 2 seconds margin on the finish line. Hiromu Fujii from Japan and Dan Marson from Canada had close race together, but after 3 mistakes in the last 3 laps Fujii had to let Marson by to finish 5th.

Over the fall we designed a new wheelchair overhang for our drivers stands. It made it's debut at The Wicked Weekend and was also used at Southern Indoor Championship with positive reviews. The design has been greatly improved on from our previous overhang allowing much better visibility for drivers who have cars coming into pit lane. Also the new design will allow seating for two wheelchairs at one time. Special thanks goes out to Jason Wood from metal art designs for handling all of the welding for us. This wheelchair overhang will be used at all three of our events providing one of the best vantage points for all of our wheelchair racers.

The Great Wall has a new livery and it returns in typical dominate fashion as the icon of our Psychotic layout. It stands loud, its size staring you right in the eye. It's normal to fear it as she spits on the weak and unskilled. Do you have what it takes for the perfect run? The Great Wall anxiously awaits your arrival.

When the concept of the pnb started one of the things we wanted to avoid was a crowded pit lane. We have seen and been a part of many races that offer no room for the guys who are running in the next heat forcing their pit guy to stand in pit lane with 30 other people. At the Psycho we have a designated Staging Area, designed for the heat that is "on deck" to have plenty of room to set up your stuff and prepare for the qualifier. You will start your car there, your pit guy will send you off for your warm up laps, you will bring the car back in for fuel and then start qualifying. This will all be done at the staging area. At that point your pit guy can walk to pit lane and continue his duties. The next heat is then allowed to move into the staging area and get ready. No cluttered pit lanes, no claustrophobia, just a little bit of Psycho pampering.

Well here it is the return of an old friend. Back in 2008 the world saw the birth of the Psycho and all its glory. They named the track sections? We did and they have been talked about ever since. Sections like The Straight Jacket, Leap Of Faith and The Great Wall to name a few. Several have been legendary staples in most of our layouts. Some have been retired….. that is until now. We along with Absolute Hobbyz are pleased to announce the return of The Dragon’s Tail. First seen back in 08, it’s a rhythm section unlike no other. You must be precise and consistent to make it through unscathed. We throw a barrage of Psycho ramps at you, all with different verts and heights. This dragon doesn’t play nice so hang on, squeeze the trigger and try not to get burned
