Under ROAR VTA rules, the body would be the only difference. ROAR VTA seems to be 21.5 and 1450 grams, which is the same as USGT.

I have nothing against USGT, but you're better off jumping into 17.5 TC. At least there are enough of them around to actually race.

And ROAR VTA is 25.5.

For USGT, the non belted X Patterns usually last 1 heat or 2 heats on the carpet at HS. So most USGT have moved onto TC. WGT there are several who have cars 3-5 are the norm. F1 is about the same, 3-5.

"Classes offered: TC 17.5, WGT, 1/12 Pancar, ROAR VTA, Mini."

Didn't look like F1 was included. When I was last there, I remember seeing a car that is 200mm wide and on foams. What is the current width/tire rule they follow?

Rubber tires, 21.5, no "pancars".

That was probably Brad's old F109 for sale on the counter.

Most of us are at 190mm wide and to UF1 rules. We do not discourage the wide cars, but foam tires are out, rubber only.

Just making sure. I have an Exotek F103 Ultra and some Exceed foams, but I also have a 190mm car and rubber tires. UF1 rules are good. When does the F1 group plan to get together again?

At the GORC, we talked with Chanc about the possibility of putting together an F1 series that would travel to various tracks. Complete UF1 rules, including the Pit Stops. So, that is where we are. I should have the Pit Timing Box complete before the end of the year.

As far as getting together, F1's normally run Wed and Sat. We race when 3 or more show up. Both Chris and I always have our F1's there and are normally ready to go.

Ned Schmaltz, aka AARCobra, knows how to build a timing box. I think he did the one for Brad and the UF1 Midwest group. I live in western NC, so I can't make Weds. Let me talk to Ned and see if he wants to ride down. What time does racing start on Saturdays? IIRC, we got there around noon and racing didn't start until 5:00 or after.

First post says 3pm, but not sure, as we have not done a Sat series in a while.

Bush River Raceway has said that they'll race most any class as long as there are four cars. Their CRC Click Track comes in on Friday, I believe.

Who's in for tomorrow? TC? 1/12th? VTA?

I'm 50/50 at the moment. That's never good, but there's a chance! lol
