***Taps Winter Series Round 7 ***
Winter Series at Taps
We are starting a Winter Series at Taps R/C Racing. We will be running twice a month, on the 2nd & 4th Saturday. Starting in December & running thru April. It will consist of 8 races with 1 drop races. There is 200 points per race & down by 5, TQ will be 5 additional points & a 10 point BONUS if you run ALL 8 races. Trophies & awards will be given out at the end of the series.
Classes:
1/10 Buggy Open motor & tires, slicks allowed
1/10 2WD SCT 17.5 (2 cell lipo, SCT tires, must have tread all the way across NO SLICKS, 17.5 motors ONLY)
1/10 2WD Stadium (need 5 to keep this class in the series)
1/10 4X4 SCT Open motor (must have 2 cell lipo, SCT tires, 1/10 SCT body)
1/8 E-Buggy Open motor & battery, slicks allowed
Stadium Trucks
to get it started 5.00 to race this class for the winter.
"5 or more and i will add them to the winter series for trophies"

Had a insane trip of rc racing this past week, Got TQ and 1st at Warehouse a couple Tuesdays ago, Got to race a stacked line up of bad asses in Chesapeake VA @ Debbies raceway, something like 22 buggies at their club race seemed more like a state race! Had a rough day of Qual, only managing 6th (I was having technical problems only finished one qual). Really rough main but managed 4th. Came back up there for their WED night race, got the TQ and Win!

Its like that at a lot of Indoor tracks as you go further up north. I remenber racing at Long Island Raceway on a week night with 50 entries or more. I here they still get turn outs like that.

I looked up jlaps to see some results and the last I can pull up is in Feb, am I doing something wrong or am I racing so crappy Tinker is sparing me the embarrassment? Carl
