Sure wish it started later on Saturday. I really would hate to get a room for Friday night for this race. I would need to leave my house at 5 am in order to get there at setup and even then I might not get practice. Oh well....

I don't have a problem starting a little later....Let me look at the times and I may adjust the start time.

Happy Fourth!

They are on RCSignup. The start time is currently 9am Saturday morning. I am about 40 minutes south of Looper. So I know his pain.

All classes on rcsignup.com show open but 2wd buggy. Just want to make sure it's open, so that I don't have to change it before hand.

So, what is the fast tire choice at HCRCR?

Grids and Impacts for 1/8 Buggy.... Soft or Super Soft depending on conditions. 4WD sct is mixed on the AKA's few like the Enduro some like Grid Irons...

Yup what JP said. A small pin or Blockade/Impact style tire in Soft.

Sweep racing dirt effects work very well also.

The Sweep Dirt Effect is much like the AKA Gridiron, the only problem with this type of small pin tire is if the track is abrasive on tires you will go through them very quickly. I suggest you have both a small pin and a medium pin like Impact, Blockade or square armor. HCRC does not have "one" hot tire in my opinion. It changes as the day goes. If you only have one tire I suggest a medium pin for sure.
