Racers, if you ever get a chance to come out and watch a race at one of north georgia's new ovals, you'll probably be back the next race weekend with your short course truck for some of the intense fun... I aint kidding.
These cars turn sub 6 second lap times w/ 6 to 8 cars on the track at once.
Talk about some intense battles and jockeying for position- you get it on a level that just doesn't hardly happen on large offroad tracks.
TONS of FUN!!!

Yes. Action was scheduled originally for the 25th, but had to reschedule to November first. If you're looking for racing this weekend, Thunder Road in Cohutta is racing this Saturday and The Dungeon in Gainsville is planning to race on Sunday.
Thanks Geezer for fielding the question. For some reason I get rctech email notifications up to 3 days after the original post has been made.

KING OF THE RING WEEKEND 2014
Is THIS weekend, November 7 and 8.
This is a Toys For Tots benefit event.
We're looking forward to a big weekend starting Friday night, November 7 at the Devils Bowl - Georgia's fastest indoor clay oval - for the McConnell Racing 119.
119 laps in 2 segments in the A Feature for both Sportsman and Super Late Model. A big thanks goes out to Michael McConnell, driver of the full scale number 119 Steel Head Late Model for being the title sponsor for this event!
Entry fee - $12.00 plus a new, unwrapped toy of $5.00 or greater.
Then, on Saturday, November 8 we move to "The Track Your Mama Warned You About" - Action Speedway - for the Action 100.
This is the third consecutive year that Action Speedway has hosted a Toys for Tots benefit race. This years event looks to be just as exciting as in years past. A special thanks to Larry Smith Automotive Machine Shop for being the title sponsor for this race.
Entry fee - a donation to the track fund ($12 suggested) plus a new, unwrapped toy of $5.00 or greater.
Both tracks also plan to donate a portion of their proceeds to Toys For Tots.
Royal Bonus - this years King of the Ring event offers added excitement through the Royal Bonus. Any driver that can win the A Feature both Friday night at Devils Bowl Speedway and Saturday at Action Speedway wins more than just a trophy. If a Sportsman driver wins both races he or she wins $50 cash. If a Super Late Model driver wins both races he or she wins $100 cash. Special thanks is due to Devils Bowl Speedway and Action Speedway for offering this added incentive.
This race couldn't be put on without the help of several additional sponsors. A&C Limousine Service from Cartersville, GA, Start Here Mechanical Services from Adairsville, GA, Dale Borrong Construction from Woodstock, GA and GSS Graphics from Rome, GA.
Product sponsors include JConcepts Racing Products, AKA Racing Products and ILaps Scoring.
We're looking forward to a great event - but more importantly, we're looking forward to supporting a worthy cause.
With all that said, who's in? Let the Roll Call start NOW!
