Stan
It will work, but get the spoiler to go with it. I've been running the losi body( no spoiler), I don't finish last, and my car seems to handle well, but I don't finish 1st either. Usually its Scooter, Aggie or Jeremy...and Nitro Jim pulls a rabbit out of his hat every now again.

Should also be noted that Scooter "decks" his car...something I need to contemplate. Stan, when installing that xponder..be sure to note that it needs a clear line of sight upwards..you should see the blinking light through the windshield or whatever. This is an optical system. The loop needs to "see" the xponder go under it.

If you guys are running the Robotronics Transponder system, ( I think I saw someone say you needed to be in the clear part of the window )

I have a new one in box I can sell for $18 shipped to Ga. We are no longer using this system.

That's an awesome deal!
Unfortunately, I don't think it will work with the Ilaps system we're using.

That's cool. I was not sure which system, I know there are atleast two that have the optics for the IR beam.

Oh well, gave it a shot.

I might come down and run once in a while. I am from Rome, but my job has moved me to Tenn via Atlanta. My sisters still live in West Rome, when I visit, I may come give it a whirl.

Things are coming together nicely for the Action Speedway opening night. Several have already commited to coming and it should be a good show of fast paced oval ACTION!

If you've never been to an oval race you should definately check it out.

Also, check our continually updated website, www.actionspeedway.com.

I still vote for starting the summer series at Action on the 30th. Looking forward to racing there.

Cool. Probably the 1st gift a hobby shop has given to oval racers since VRP.

Thanks Turtle Trax for supporting our opening night!

I've been in and out of this sport/hobby for a long time and have been around several hobby shops. I can honestly say that Turtle Trax is dedicated to promoting all aspects of RC Racing and not just the health of their wallet!

If anyone is looking for anything give Turtle Trax a call or visit www.turtletraxraceway.com.
