Default Battlefield R/C Off-Road Friday Night Race 4-13-12

After such an overwhelming success last week, we will again be racing this Friday night at 7. Come on out for our first annual Jason Voorhees Memorial Race and slaughter the competition.

Randy,

Will this be two seven minute qualifiers again? I am heading out of town Saturday morning and would like to sleep some Friday night. Lol.

Thanks,
Brian

We already decided to go back to 5 minute heats, I believe people would rather sacrifice a little track time to get home at a reasonable hour.

We will run two 5 minute heats, if time allows, we will run another set. If not, we will go straight to the mains.

Randy,

I think that part of the success last Friday night was due to the fact that a lot of us were off work that day and wanted to play........ But a hard day at work and then racing is more than this old body can do....... I skipped my last main and still wasn't home til after 2. Maybe with a smaller crowd it would work better.

You're right, Barry, the holiday was one of the factors why we chose last Friday and surely added to the participation. Hopefully, changes in our program will streamline the night and encourage you and others to come out and race.

Randy,

Please don't take my post wrong..... You did a great job and I love racing there. We hadn't thought about the weather being cool either which made us miserable after 9 pm......

I just figured that if I could add some constructive criticism it would be appreciated. We will be back........

I certainly want to hear everyone's opinion and suggestions, we want to make the experience at Battlefield the best it can be. I thank you for your input, it is valuable to me.

Are you using the TQ AM or 2.4? Several of us would be glad to loan you a transmitter for the night and tires too! Come on out and introduce yourself.
