Stock Class ? for 2wd offroad buggy
Looks like stock class is the place to be. Can someone tell me what motor is being used on brushless? Are you running 17.5 or 13.5 or 21.5? I am thinking of breaking my old BK1 out and have some fun every once in a while.

17.5 brushless is used in stock buggy usually not timing is aloud but some tracks do allow it (very rarely) but i would check with locals and or people who work there

Would a 13.5 still be considered stock at a ROAR race, if not we should run the 17.5 in a local stock race.
I'm am aware that everyone including myself runs 13.5 boosted, but I thought we were running open Mod class.
I know a lot of times I should have been running a 17.5, I would not have hit the pipe so hard>>>>>.

Almost all the tracks in GA are running 13.5 boosted for the stock class.
Its what Turtletrax ran when we started out because most of us were running 13.5 touring car at nexus so we all had 13.5 motors and no 17.5's so in the intrest of keeping things cheap for the small group of us that there were we ran 13.5.. Things just kind of grew from there and now most of the north GA tracks that are running buggy are running 13.5 buggy that I'm aware of
Edited to add: Also most of the RTR kits come with a 13.5 brushless or equivilant motor now so it helps people who are buying RTR kits to keep them from having to buy a motor right out of the box as well.

Ok another ? what would be a good starting point on ESC and motor? I don't need a 300 dollar unit. I am not looking to really cheap out but I also dont want to break the bank. Also from what I gather I need a sensored motor and esc am I correct? Sorry for all the?'s guys. I have been out of the scene for a while.
