My hero. The whole plan for every other saturday was so I could get out and enjoy some racing at other tracks. This thing has kept me and snoop so busy with details I'm lucky to get there with these 13-16 hour days at work. But it's coming together now so we can take a break soon. I know I need one. But still, can I bring Dion so he can be the color comentator? He's funny when left alone.

Sundays sound good George. I know some racers that would be down for some Sunday action because they can't make it on Saturdays.

I'm just happy that there's now a great on-road track to race at in GA! I've really missed racing Touring and I need all the practice I can get! It's also cool to see racers buying cars to get back into on-road since there's now a place to actually race it.

Hate to high jack your comments BUT HotShots raceway in Marietta is also an on-road track,it is not asphalt but a carpet track and on-road is growing there also,VTA,12th scale & touring, maybe a series can be set up between the two.

a series would be good.....Sir Goony's is racing some ...ALOT of VTA, and its not to far as well....nice ppl as well....

you guys interested?....Ive got plans to do a series next spring...that can or should incl....BF,HS,SG,TR, and a Alambama and Memphis track...it will be based on VTA(since its ran everywhere, but can incl a extra class at that track with cash payout...

As Mike already mentioned, Hot Shots is also an onroad track, and just happens to be in GA. Open 6 days a week, attached hobby shop, and a very supportive owner. We had a 6 car VTA race saturday evening. We had enough for TC, but the 3 of us decided we wanted to concentrate on the VTA more. Enough 1/12th were there too, but not all of them wanted to race.

There is also the Sugarbowl (which still sees some traffic I am heard) as well as Nexus. Onroad is still alive and kicking, assuming we dont try and destroy it by calling it dead, or regulate the life out of it...

Very true.
I think turtle just had asphalt on his mind. I will get a 1/12 out to run seeing that the track seems smooth enough. I'll give a report.
