Default Battlefield Road Course

OK well the third Road Course Race was threatened by rain. I almost turned around myself. Then, in good faith, Shaun and Adam went to Walmart and bought big squeegees to help dry off the track with. Its as if the weather was listening to them. As soon as they got back the weather broke and we were able to dry it off. What began threatened by weather ended up a beautiful day of racing.

Here is the vid from the first heat of VTA on July 16.

I am including a new link to the video that turned out from the first race.

There are three power poles within forty feet of the track that have a cluster of power outlets on them. Should be enough for club racing but in a large event you might want to bring a generator or at least charge from the car battery.

Classes
VTA
F1
Kart
Touring-17.5 Open

Location is off of Highway 27 in LaFayette Georgia.

638 s. main st
Lafayette, Ga

Here is the mapquest link from Atlantahttp://mapq.st/j2RoFb
The directions are not quite complete. You want to pull into the park and look behind the tennis courts.

But Snoopy the real question is, are you going to have VTA? That needs to be addressed

Yes and VTA too.

When new people show up and want into this we are sending them out to the closest Hobby Shops to get their gear. That means Battlefield, Turtle and Dalton. I dont reccommend getting neck deep into VTA parts, but you might want to have a shell or two and some wheels and tires. Just a little, dont go to far.

You might want to put an address/directions from an interstate in that first post.

Looks awesome.

The fun part is that pic's are cool but seeing it for the first time will blow your sox off... unless you have been wearing them for several days. Use rubber bands. We think you will like it.

Sounds GREAT! cant wait for first race day...and every 1 after. Love the name. Love the class list most of all lol

I ran my VTA car sunday on it a long while and it was awesome. No noticeable tire wear (put it on with brand new virgin tires)We didnt even blow the track off first and still no issues. All dust blew off with compressor with ease when I got home. Track was smooth, No issues from repaired spots AT ALL. I did go around the post hole as snoopy had just layed fresh patch on it but sitting there with him while he worked on it, I feel its close to being forgotten it was even there.

You ever get those pics from sunday uploaded anywhere?

Not sure how many there are around here, I know of a few but open mod touring would be some kind of show to the visitors. Ryan are you listening?
